One booking, one guest, one plan — not one policy for everything.
Risk on a short-term rental doesn't come from a single source, so it doesn't get covered by a single fix. We layer a few different tools depending on how the booking came in.
Three layers, matched to the booking.
Platform-backed protection
Bookings made through Airbnb are covered by Airbnb's own host protection, which applies automatically to that booking.
The owner's own coverage
Beyond the platform, an owner's own insurance options can vary — largely based on the property's rental history and how it's currently insured. We help identify what's realistic for your specific property.
Direct-booking deposits
For bookings we take outside Airbnb, we can hold a damage deposit up front before the guest checks in.
Different bookings carry different risk — the coverage should too.
A guest booked and verified through a major platform isn't the same risk profile as a direct inquiry. Rather than force every stay through one blanket policy, we match the safeguard to how the booking actually happened.
Before your property goes live, we'll walk through exactly which of these applies and what — if anything — you need to arrange yourself.
